Given the requirement for Government, Enterprise and SMB customers alike to extend their Storage Area Networks (SANs) across physically diverse locations, Complete Telecom provides a SAN interconnection service for the Dublin metro region – ‘mSAN’.

This service is optimised for very low latency and offers three separate solutions which address the various storage bandwidth requirements delivered on a managed network platform.

1. Clear-Channel Ethernet

Where iSCSI or FCip is the desired storage protocol, Complete Telecom can deliver a fully managed and redundant network solution that supports the interconnection of the storage arrays located in each facility. This next generation SAN interconnect solution is enabled through an optical Ethernet delivery network ensuring fast and secure replication of data.

Bandwidth increments :

• 100Mbps Ethernet
• 1Gbps Ethernet
• 10Gbps Ethernet

2. Managed Fibre Channel Service

Complete Telecom provides a fully managed fibre channel service between the desired locations utilising our multi-service optical core network.

• 1Gbps Fibre Channel
• 2Gbps Fibre Channel
• 4Gbps Fibre Channel

3. Dark Fibre

Complete Telecom has an extensive dark fibre network in the Dublin metro region enabling its customers to interconnect their SAN environments over a dedicated fibre pair and utilising their own transmission equipment for maximum flexibility.
