Dublin Network

In 2005, Complete Telecom commenced the installation of its own Metropolitan Area Network (“MAN”) in and around the Dublin area. The network is one of the most comprehensive Next Generation Networks in Ireland. We have connected in excess of 50 individual customers at multiple speeds across this network achieving 100% conformance to SLAs since inception.

Our Dublin Metropolitan Area Network spans in excess of 150Kms and is continually extended and enhanced with every new customer connection and service delivery. The network core is made up 190 cores of Corning G652 fibre, giving ample room for growth and the ability to provision an almost limitless number of very high speed, dedicated bandwidth services for our customers. The core Optical platform used to deliver these high speed services is based on an NGN architecture using CWDM / DWDM nodes providing very high speed, very low latency dedicated point to point and point to multipoint circuits in a range of speeds from 10 Megabits per second to multiples of 10 Gigabits per second.

Our network is already diversely presented in the majority of the primary data centres (Eircom Citywest and Clonshaugh, BT, Telecity, DEG Kilcarbery and Ballycoolin, InterXion Dub1 and Dub2, ServeCentric, Sungard, HP, IBM, Verizon, C&W and Hibernia Atlantic) in Dublin as well as several regional data centres and many end user building and campus business locations around the city and the rest of the country.

Regional Network

Complete Telecom leases dark fibre and managed bandwidth services from several wholesale fibre providers including e|net, who manage the Government MANs located around each major city and town countrywide . We bolster our core fibre based connectivity with a range of ancillary and complimentary ‘local tail’ circuits using xDSL and Wireless (Licensed and Unlicensed) services based on wholesale arrangements with several other established service providers.
