Job: Networking – LAN/WAN/eSecurity Engineers

Several Positions are available at all levels – You should have 2 to 10 years experience and hold several high level industry or vendor specific technical qualifications and have worked on public and private sector customer-facing installations with secure, converged networking products and associated services using best of breed vendor solutions.

Responsibilities          

• Design Networks to meet Customer Requirements
• Configure, Install, Test, Commission and Document new network installations
• Install, Commission and Document Security Solutions for customers
• Install Commission and Document Voice Solutions
• Carry out Network Audits
• Provide Post Sales Support to Customers
• Provide Pre Sales Support to Sales Team
• Assist with Installation and Maintenance of Metropolitan Area Network and associated services
• Assist with Installation and Maintenance of Network Operations Centre
• Project Management of Large Projects

Required Technical Skills (In depth knowledge of some or all of the following)        STP, VLAN

• HSRP, VRRP
• Switching and Routing
• BGP, OSPF, EIGRP
• VPN, IPSEC, SSL VPN
• Voice over IP
• Firewall technologies
• Authentication, Authorization RADIUS
• Network Management and Monitoring, SNMP
• 3Com, Enterasys, Cisco

Required Personal Skills         

• Proven track record of designing, implementing and supporting networks based on Enterasys, 3Com or Cisco equipment
• Strong troubleshooting abilities
• Strong communication and team-player skills
• Multitasking – be able to handle multiple projects simultaneously
• Provide ongoing support for Customer Networks
• Certifications in Networking/Security technologies, such as ESE. ESSE, 3Com (LAN, WAN and Voice), CCNP, CCDP, CCIE, CISSP are an desirable but not essential
